She holds a doctorate in Anthropology (Universidad de Barcelona), with a thesis on authorship, life story composition, imaginary and representation in the construction of a film portrait. Master’s degree on memory and representation through the body, afrovenezuelan music and the quotidian embodiment of identity. Doctorate and Master’s based and related to the making of her feature film BELEN (Fid 2016).
She has been invited to teach workshops, master classes and academic courses at different universities, art and cinema institutions in Europe, United States and Latin America. Particularly in Spain at EQZE, UNED, UOC, ESCAC, CSIC, UB, Aula Xcentric CCCB, BAU, among others.
